LEICA - A CENTURY OF VISION (WT): new documentary by Reiner Holzemer in the making

A new and exciting project is in the making: filming for LEICA - A CENTURY OF VISION (WT) started in May 2024 and is still ongoing.

Completion of the movie is expected in mid-2025.

In 2025, Leica Camera AG celebrates a milestone that transformed the world of photography: the 100th anniversary of the first series-produced Leica 35mm camera. Introduced in 1925 at the Leipzig Spring Fair, this groundbreaking invention by Oskar Barnack not only revolutionized photography but also shaped the way we see the world.

Photography legends like Joel Meyerowitz, Ralph Gibson, Sebastião Salgado as well as contemporary photographers Ragnar Axelsson, JR and Greg Williams, among others, will appear in the new documentary by Reiner Holzemer.
